Meet Your Pre-College Tokyo Team!

Konichiwa friends!

It’s a beautiful, sunny day here in Tokyo as we continue to prepare for your arrival. We hope you’re as excited as we are — the next three weeks will be jam-packed as you embark on the adventure of a lifetime!

We are staying at a super cool student accommodation called Kamikita House in the Shimotakaido district of Suginami Ward, Tokyo. It’s a quiet, residential neighborhood with many Konbini (convenience stores), markets, and train stations all within walking distance. We’ll be sharing the accommodation with local university students, so you’ll get the real deal college living experience!

Your seminar instructors can’t wait to share the magic of Tokyo and Japanese culture with you as you use the city as your classroom. Get ready to get hands-on as you dive deep into topics like Anime, Business, and Fashion with like-minded peers.

You’re probably feeling all types of ways, especially a bit of excitement and nervousness — that’s totally normal! Whether this is your first time out of the country or your passport is already full of stamps, or whether you’re fluent in the Japanese language or brand new, we’re positive each of your minds and hearts will be imperative to the success of this program.

So double check that Packing List and don’t forget to bring:

  • An open mind with extra curiosity.
  • An appetite — you will be eating so much amazing food!
  • Lots of good vibes!

We can’t wait to meet you in person in just a few short days!
