June 24: Newark Liberty International Airport

If you have reserved and paid for a hotel room, one of your leaders will meet you at the hotel and stay overnight with the group. We will send you an email one week prior to departure with details about the hotel reservation and instructions on how to meet your leader. 

June 25: Departure Day, Newark to Toky

June 26 – July 14: Tokyo, Japan

Our summer residence in Tokyo is located in Suginami City, a special ward in Tokyo on the western part of the capital. A short walk to the metro station, and about 15 minutes by metro from Shinjuku Station, this accommodation is located in a residential neighborhood with general amenities like stores, restaurants, and a variety of public transportation options. During the day, students explore the city with their seminar groups, working in teams with the guidance of their Pre-College instructors. Students will also take day trips in the region, and may also travel with their seminar groups to nearby points of interest like Yokohama and Chiba. 

July 15: Return Day, Tokyo to Newark
