Yesterday:

We woke up at 6 AM, got ready and went down to eat breakfast. Then, we walked to the park to play some introduction games and learn the rules! Then we walked around the city which was burning hot like we had never experienced!! After that, we took a break for 2 hours to cool down.  We ate lunch at a sushi restaurant inside a department store and it was so delicious!! After the break we went to a government building to see how beautiful Tokyo is from the 46th floor!! Then we ate dinner at an outdoor food court. After dinner we did shout-outs which were really nice and sweet and went over the schedule for the next day!

Today:

First we had the minor classes and we had Japanese cuisine which was so much fun!! During that 4 hour class we did a scavenger hunt, bought notebooks as a group but we both bought fans, and then we went to a ramen street that was in a subway station underground which was delicious and amazing!! We had the most amazing time!! Then we had our break and at 3:00 we met with our majors! (Avery’s Major) I am in the Japanese language class and we talked about our goals and our levels. But before that we played with puppies at the pet supply store and they were adorable!! Then we went to a book store and then a library!! (Marissa’s Major) I went to the bookstore for my anime class. For dinner we had Italian food I (Avery) got spicy spaghetti with tomato sauce and mozzarella which was delicious. And then we went back to have community meeting.  Then we did face masks! I (Marissa) had chicken risotto, which was amazing, and then I also got a face mask.
